I logged this station in the end of May and sent a reception report in English. No reply. Today I translated my report into Bulgarian and immediately received a reply also in Bulgarian confirming that I have received a local program from Radio Focus Studio Varna. KTKZ Sacramento CA 1380

I have heard KTKZ only once, Jan 28 2007. KRKO is usually dominating so this verification was really a nice one. I have tried letters without any result. Some weeks ago I phoned them and got an email address. Today I received a nice email from Receptionist Martha Stewart at Salem Communications in Sacramento. Martha also sent my report to their Chief Engineer Dave Fortenberry who sent his own verification. Thank you for your replies Martha and Dave!

Brief email from Ciao Radio Bologna which had a nice signal during E-skip May 25. I have a modified ICOM R-7000 with two 80 kHz filter. Nice selectivity but lousy audio....

WBEN Buffalo NY 930

Most of the time a Canadian is the dominating station on 930 but sometimes WBEN is on top. Today I received two different mails from Kelli A. McMillan Chief Engineer and Kevin Carr Assistant program director. Kevin included three photos from the transmitting site. Thank you both!

Juventus Radio Budapest 89.5 FM

In the summertime sometimes I also check the FM band for E-skip. A week ago I had nice reception from Radio Juventus on 89.5 and today Petra Gaják sent a a nice email verifying my reception. Petra was the announcer of the morning show I caught. Thank you Petra!
